E-reader company Kobo has a new accessory that’s perfect for the laziest of bookworms: a remote control. The appropriately named “Kobo Remote” is a simple, wireless page-turner that will let you read in bed all day without ever having to lift a finger to turn the page.

The new remote costs $30 and will be available to buy on November 4. It’s a small, simple device with buttons to turn pages forward and backward. The idea is to prop up your e-reader on a stand, get comfortable, and use the remote to keep reading without constantly reaching out to touch the screen. Kobo is calling it “the ideal reading companion.”

The remote has been custom-built for Kobo’s products and will work with any of their e-readers that have Bluetooth, including the popular Libra 2 and the new Clara Colour. It will be available in both black and white to match the company’s devices.

“In a Canadian winter, we know that sometimes maximum reading comfort means burrowing down in the blankets,” said Kobo CEO Michael Tamblyn. “The Kobo Remote is the perfect accessory for peak immersive reading.”

While a remote control for an e-reader might sound a little silly, it’s the kind of small, quality-of-life improvement that dedicated readers are likely to appreciate.
