The world’s largest tech show, CES, is just around the corner, and we are already getting a preview of the trends that will dominate 2026. The show floor in Las Vegas officially opens on January 6, but major announcements will begin as early as Sunday.
As always, artificial intelligence will be everywhere, but we can also expect to see a new wave of powerful computer chips, brighter and more colorful TVs, and many more robots.
The biggest names in tech are all lined up to make their pitches. Samsung and LG, the two South Korean giants, have already been spoiling their own announcements for weeks. Both companies plan to debut new “Micro RGB” televisions, a technology that promises improved color accuracy and brightness. LG is also entering the “art TV” market with its new Gallery TV, a direct competitor to Samsung’s popular “The Frame.”
The chipmakers are also ready to compete. Nvidia, Intel, and AMD all have major press conferences scheduled. We expect to see Intel launch its new Core Ultra Series 3 processors, while AMD will likely show off new Ryzen chips and its latest AI upscaling technology. Qualcomm is also rumored to be making a bigger push into the laptop market with its new Snapdragon X2 Elite chips.
On the robotics front, we will be keeping an eye out for Samsung’s ball-shaped robot, Ballie, which has been announced twice but has not yet been released. Beyond that, expect to see a new generation of smarter, more capable robot vacuums, including models that can climb over small ledges or retract their mops to avoid wetting carpets.
Of course, this is just a small taste of what’s to come. With thousands of companies showing off their latest gadgets, CES 2026 is sure to be packed with surprises. We will be there to bring you all the updates as they happen.
