As the AI boom continues to reshape the tech landscape, Wall Street analysts are busy picking the winners and losers. Here’s a look at some of the biggest analyst calls in the world of artificial intelligence this week.

Loop Capital has upgraded Apple to a “Buy,” saying the company is at the very beginning of a multi-year iPhone growth cycle. They were blown away by the “far better than anticipated” launch of the iPhone 17 and are now projecting three straight years of record-breaking iPhone shipments, fueled by upcoming models like a foldable and a dedicated “AI Phone.”

Barclays is telling investors to get “more selective” with AI chip stocks. While the bank is still bullish on big names like Nvidia, Broadcom, and AMD, it’s warning that some smaller players are overvalued. The bank downgraded Marvell, Astera Labs, and Lumentum, but upgraded KLA Corp., citing its strong long-term outlook.

Mizuho has raised its price target for Broadcom, pointing to the company’s growing partnerships with AI leaders Anthropic and OpenAI. The analyst says Anthropic has quickly become Broadcom’s fourth-largest customer and could generate $10 billion in revenue for the chipmaker by 2026.

Morgan Stanley has named Spotify a “Top Pick,” citing the music streaming giant’s accelerating growth, strong pricing power, and new AI-driven features. The bank is optimistic that Spotify can “leverage AI into tangible financial benefits in the years ahead.”
