Also, the new “micromobility” startup that was recently spun out of EV maker Rivian has finally shown off its first products: a high-tech e-bike and two pedal-assisted electric quads.

The star of the show is the TM-B e-bike, a versatile and modular machine designed to be a do-it-all vehicle for everything from commuting to hauling cargo. It features a unique frame that lets you easily swap out different seats, including a bench seat for a passenger, all without any tools.

The bike is packed with tech, which is no surprise given its Rivian roots. It has a removable battery that comes in two sizes, offering up to 100 miles of range, and can also be used as a large power bank for your other devices.

But the most interesting feature is its “software-defined pedaling.” Instead of a chain, your pedaling powers a generator that charges the battery, which then powers the motor. This allows for a highly customizable riding experience, with both an “auto” mode that adapts to your speed and a “manual” mode with software-controlled “gears.”

It is also taking pre-orders for the bike now, with prices starting at under $4,000 for the base model.

The company also gave a sneak peek at two electric quads it’s developing, one for families and one for commercial deliveries. It has even partnered with Amazon to develop fleets of delivery quads.
